Microsoft will ship Windows 10 version 21H1 later this year, with the company confirming today this new release will be a smaller pack of improvements similar to version 20H2.

In other words, you won’t get too many new features, and this kind of makes sense, as Microsoft just wants to improve the overall performance of the operating system and be sure everything is working correctly.

But at the same time, Microsoft hopes that delivering a quality update-like release would help ensure a smoother experience for everybody, and the company explains that all those who currently run Windows 10 version 2004 or version 20H2 will benefit from the fastest update process.
