Samsung is getting ready to introduce a new generation of foldable devices, and the company today has released a substantial price cut for one of its older models.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G, which has until now been available for $1,449, costs just $1,199 starting from today, and this $250 discount shows the South Koreans are trying to play more aggressively on this front.
With new foldables expected as soon as June, Samsung wants its foldable device lineup to become the new pioneer of the smartphones sold under its brand, especially now that it’s working to retire the Note series entirely.
But at the same time, Samsung has also pledged to offer more affordable foldables, though everybody is waiting for the company to release a cheaper model rather than announce price cuts for the existing devices.
