Silent Hill is one of the most famous horror games that we’ve been missing in the last ten years. Konami, the owner of the IP, seems to be unable to make another Silent Hill game probably afraid that it won’t meet fans’ high expectations.

However, it appears that Konami has found a solution to the problem, so even if it’s not capable of producing another horror hit, it will allow other studios to make it happen. A new report by VGC claims there are multiple Silent Hill reboots in the works at different studios.

Supermassive Games, the studio behind horrors like Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures Anthology, is rumored to be one of the developers approached by Konami. The studio was invited to pitch its take on another Silent Hill game, but no contract between the two companies was signed yet.
